5 out of 5 stars Easier than I thought   March 29, 2010

You definitely need a ruler and possibly one other person to help you cut to correct size. But it is very easy to actually put on the window. Good advice to start on the smallest most out of the way window first as there is a learning curve with anything done for the first time. These are very clear to see through and are almost like nothing's there. When viewed at a distance, there is a slight tint to them, probably the UltraViolet Light blocker, but barely noticeable. Easy to wash clean with water, preferably with a spray bottle.

5 out of 5 stars cooled off our room over garage   August 6, 2010
Lunell S. Campbell (gulf breeze, fl)
We were having a problem with the sun hitting our south facing windows in the finished room over the garage. This made such a difference, and has certainly made the room cooler in the afternoons. Now I'm looking to put some on the west facing bathroom window, too! Easy to put on, believe me.

4 out of 5 stars Installation a bit of a pain   May 7, 2009

This is my 2nd attempt working with this.

Pros
Does seem to help
No adhesives
can be reused
easy to cut.

Cons
Wrinkles easily if not handled carefully
generally the larger an area is a the harder it is trying to get the bubbles out.

Hints
roll the film in reverse to help it straighten out but carefully
you can put little permanent wrinkles in there, the film actually appears to be 2 layers.
This film works pretty well for smaller areas. but try and keep the cutting to a minimum. In my opinion you do not have to to cover window exactly depends how picky you are. One end of the film actually has a small lip 3/16" which only has 1 layer don't forget to cut that off if you are using that end.
Use plenty of water both sides helps with squeezing out bubbles.
Make sure the area you are applying to is absolutely spotless even the smallest speck will cause a bubble( distorts vision like a drop of water).

3 out of 5 stars needs better protective shipping package   July 31, 2010
Snow White
When shipped, the product ended up dented when it arrived because the outer package was dented by UPS!...the inside was not protected enough to prevent the damage. so the film now has permanent dents which is really NOT GOOD especially since this will go on windows! Very disappointing. I blame UPS mostly but I wish the company had put some sort of cushioning between the box and film to have prevented this!

1 out of 5 stars This window film easily comes off. It is worthless.   July 29, 2010

I used this film on my garage windows, and it easily falls off. I would not recommend this film to anyone.
