I ordered 3 filters on a Thursday afternoon. They were delivered the very next day. I took advantage of standard supersaver shipping. The Honeywell filters perfectly fit the Honeywell return housing. The MERV rating of 8 is, I believe, adequate for residential use.

As others have noted, this is not actually a 4" filter; it's closer to 4.5". That is not a problem for my receptacle: the filter fits the opening, albeit snugly. If my receptacle's space were slightly less, however, I would be forced to return this item.

My filter was well packed and arrived promptly. It was packed in an absolutely huge box -- perhaps that kept the filter from being crushed, but it seems like an excessive use of cardboard.

These air filters are excellent but a bit pricey and there is no discount for ordering several at once
