The SOLO is a dual voltage all in one thermostat 120V or 240V; one thermostat for either voltage just make sure to match Mat & on site voltage. Especially unique features include network capability; you can link multiple SOLO's together and centralize control. Plus a 3 year warranty which is the longest warranty in the industry. The SOLO is a DIRECT REPLACEMENT for the discontinued NTG series Thermostats. You get superior technology at the same price. The backlit LCD screen gives you a full menu screen for easy programming using actual words no symbols or codes to decipher. You choose whether you want to use the floor temperature sensing recommended or ambient air sensing or a combination of both air and floor temperature with a floor limit. The SOLO can be used on all hard surface floors; tile, stone and laminate or engineered wood floors. The Nuheat SOLO became ENERGY STAR qualified in 2009 and is listed for safety by CSA in both the USA and Canada and is rated for 15 Amps to control floor heating systems of 1800 watts at 120v = 150 Sq Ft of 120v Nuheat mats or 3600 Watts at 240v =300 Sq Ft of 240v Nuheat Mats.Also built in is future compatibility with exterior temperature and humidity sensors which are sold separately which allows the thermostat to display the exterior temperature and humidity readings.

Nuheat is excellent. Best to buy through your contractor or at least through a local distributor to ensure you're getting the later makes of all their products. Local is better, talking to the rep in the area can be a good idea if you need help. I love Nuheat!
